US and regional regulatory agencies

NESHAPs (National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants)

NESHAPs are stationary source standards for hazardous air pollutants. Hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) are those pollutants that are known or suspected, by the EPA, to cause cancer or other serious health effects, such as reproductive effects or birth defects, or adverse environmental effects.

SCAQMD (South Coast Air Quality Management District) rulebook

SCAQMD is the air pollution control agency for much of southern California, one of the country's smoggiest areas. The extensive rules are sometimes used as the basis for rule making in other areas of the country.

OTC (Ozone Transport Commission)
